Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Cheol Choi
Driven by his love of working with children, Dr. Choi's main goal is to look at the whole child and deliver and advocate for the best possible oral health care for children. He strives to provide exceptional dental care in a safe and fun environment and to ensure your child develops a positive relationship coming to the dentist.
Dr. Choi received his undergraduate degree in nursing from Duke University and a master's from North Carolina State University. He completed his DMD from OHSU. He continued postgraduate training in a hospital dentistry residency from ECMC/University at Buffalo, followed by a pediatric dentistry residency at the University of Rochester/Eastman Institute for Oral Health in New York. Since then, he has worked in multiple pediatric dental offices before opening the McMinnville Pediatric Dentistry.
As a board-certified pediatric dentist with years of experience, Dr. Choi is excited to deliver the best dental care for the children in the community.
Dr. Choi and his wife, Lorena, have a son. In his free time, he loves spending time with his wife and son, learning new recipes, and enjoying time outdoors.
Dr. Lorena Ibarra
Dr. Lorena Ibarra graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Medicine in Dentistry from OHSU, followed by postgraduate training in a hospital dentistry residency from ECMC/University at Buffalo, followed by a pediatric dentistry residency at the University of Puerto Rico. She is a compassionate board-certified pediatric dentist. Driven by a motivation to contribute to individuals' health and better communities through oral health, Dr. Ibarra was drawn to the field of dentistry. With years of experience, she takes great pleasure in supporting a child's development and lifelong practices for better health. Dr. Ibarra loves seeing perspectives from a child's point of view and helping them develop healthy habits.
In her free time, Dr. Ibarra can be found exploring the great outdoors by hiking, reading, or cooking with her husband, Dr. Choi, and 2-year-old son (Daniel). Originally from Oregon, Dr. Ibarra is proud to serve the community she calls home. Dr. Ibarra wants her patients to know that she is dedicated to providing exceptional dental care and is fluent in Spanish to better serve the diverse community. With Dr. Ibarra, patients can expect to receive the utmost care and attention to help them achieve their oral health goals.

Reception & Treatment Coordinator
Bereniz is the friendly face who welcomes you to McMinnville Pediatric Dentistry! Originally from San Jose, California, she moved to our beautiful McMinnville community in 2025. With a background in dentistry since 2019 and a focus on pediatrics since 2025, she is an expert at helping families navigate their visits.
Bereniz believes that a warm, friendly welcome makes all the difference in helping a child feel brave at the dentist. She loves helping kids feel confident about their smiles! When she's not at the office, you'll find her exploring Oregon with her boyfriend and her dog, shopping, or enjoying the great outdoors.
